Ashley Venegas signs with Brewton-Parker

Congratulations to TCSA’s Ashley Venegas for being signed to continue her soccer career at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia.

Ashley began her career with Toombs County Soccer Association at the age of 14. She played 4 years for TCSA and assisted the club in winning its first Division 2 State Title and went on to compete at the Region III President’s Cup during the 2017-2018 seasonal year.  Ashley’s parents are Jesus and Yolanda Venegas, pictured below after signing her scholarship.

Ashley’s favorite soccer memory is being able to have people there for her when she is going

through “whatever” and also to be around these same people who pushed her to be the best

she can be.

Ashley’s favorite memory with TCSA is during training sessions when Claire

Walden, Hannah Keene and Olivia Wright would have the most random and funniest talks while playing small-sided games.

Ashley’s advice to younger players looking to transition to the next level is to “DEFINITELY DO IT!; just do it!” TCSA has helped her in so many ways. “I definitely got better with the coaching. I was able to push myself hard so that I can be where I am now. In addition, I made amazing friends that became family and my coach. I was able to play the sport I love the most.”

We at TCSA would like to thank Ashley for her years of play with TCSA and say a huge congratulations to she and her family. We look forward to hearing about your continued success in the game and the brilliant future you are going to have.
